The other day Mom got a call from Regan's mom. JD, Regan is your best girl friend. She's very cool, quite a tomboy. Her mom called to say that Regan was upset at school the other day. She forgot her "TV Turnoff" sign off sheet and was scared to tell Mrs Hill. She was crying at her desk and you walked over to her, put your arm around her, and asked her what was wrong. She told you that she forgot her sign off and didn't want to tell Mrs Hill. You asked Regan if she wanted you to tell Mrs Hill for her, and she said yes. Mrs Hill allowed you to walk Regan to the school office to grab another sign off sheet. This made Regan feel so much better and her Mom was nice enough to call us to relay this story.
The last few week have been busy once again, a sure time that summer is on it's way. A few weeks ago we went to Leanna, Adam and Marin's house for dinner. We had chicken, rice and broccoli. You both played with Marin in their TV room for most of the time, which provided a nice relaxing time for the adults. Marin is Adams age and very cute. She takes ownership over her toys as most two years olds do. JD, there were a few times I saw you speaking to her in a low cute tone. Adam and Marin are two peas in a pod. Ad, you have spent a lot of time during the week with Marin and your familiarity with her is very noticeable.
Mom and I had a nice time talking with Marin's parents. Its seems we have some things in common with the two of them, and its nice to have them so close.
Adam, you have been a prominent fixture at T-Ball this year. We have had five games thus far and you have been to four of them. You always bring your glove and have your hat on backwards. No one prompts you to wear your hat this way, but whenever you put it on, you flip it around.
JD, you continue to crush the ball off the T. You typically have one hit each night that goes over the entire infield in the air. You were close to hitting the fence the other night. The important thing is
that you like T Ball so much. We have a great group of kids, I can't believe how much they actually listen. One of the parents came up to me the other night and told me that I, "Have the patience of a saint." Compared to last year, this year is a piece of cake.Mom has taken over the role of "Team Mom." This is not as easy as it sounds. She is responsible for the Batathon for our team, money collection, parent communication, and concession stand staffing. Mom didn't want to do this at first, partially cuz she was overwhelmed by the commitment and intense parent interaction. I am so proud of her for taking this on, and she has enjoyed it so much. She has such a way with people when she wants to and that has shown through in our little T Ball league.
JD, you were happy to have had Chad and Ash come to a game last Thursday. Ash called Mom to check in toward the end of the day and Mom mentioned that you had a game. The next we knew they were at the field with their barker. The six of us went out to dinner in Dover afterwards. It was nice to have their support that night!
Last week Mom took Marin for a few hours during the day. This was her first time ever away from home. Mom had some fun things planned for Ad and Marin on this day. I stopped home for lunch in the afternoon
This past weekend was Mothers Day! We had a noon time game on Saturday which didn't leave too much time for the three of us to get out in the morning and wrangle mom up a gift. We decided to celebrate Mothers Day on Saturday as Grandie and Pop Pop were planning to come down. The three of us went to Wentworth Greenhouse in Dover and picked out a big inside plant for mom. We were in and out as Addie was in his "Wild Man" mode. Running around saying hello to everyone in sight!
After we got her gift we went to the little lake in Rollinsford near where the True's used to live. We spent a good hour here throwing rocks in the lake. We pulled up right near the boat drop and listened to some music while we watched the rocks SPLASH! Not to mention we gave mom some nice time to get settled for the day!

After JD's T Ball game Grandie and Pop Pop came back for the afternoon and dinner. Pop Pop nd I cooked chicken, potatoes and fresh asparagus. We had a very nice relaxing afternoon. Pop Pop played football outside with both of you after dinner and Grandie made some great dessert.
I know Mom had a nice mothers day and just loved the plant you guys chose. I missed my mom on mothers day this year. One of the tough things about living up here is that sometimes I simply can't do more than one important thing on days like that. Its still hard for me to admit to myself.
Sunday night we had Chad and Ash, Chris and Tara, and Chad and Caden over for our first BBQ of the year. I got a new
Earlier this day, you guys had so much fun playing in mud. Mom is much better at dirty stuff than I. She was gardening and you both went over to investigate her new plants. One thing led to another and before I knew it, you were both covered in mud! Laughing, wrestling and dripping wet! After you tried to tackle mom, all three of you ended up in the shower!
